Day by the River

For our actual wedding anniversary Alex and I decided to spend the day by the river. It has been quite some time since we have taken the time to make the trek to this particular body of water.

First, you have to brave the hairpin turns on the road that is barely wide enough for two cars to pass.

Cross the bridge.

Then, you have to hike down to the bottom of the ravine.

We could have left it at that, but we took it one step farther.

We waded across the water to the beach on the opposite side of the river, but that's what you have to do to get to these beautiful waters.
