George Washington's Mount Vernon

001

On Saturday (the last day of the in-laws visit) we started out going back to D.C. to explore some more, but it was too crowed.  Then we drove to Arlington, VA to see the cemetery, but the GPS lead us to a military base.  So, we drove to Mount Vernon.

Cows

Have I mentioned how much I love cows.

My obsession started on my very first trip up north to Oregon.

I cannot remember my exact age, but it was probably between the ages of 10 and 14.

There were so many green pastures and most of them were filled with beautiful black and white cows.

For many years after, both my Aunt Judy and my Grandma gave me many cow themed gifts.

My love for cows was so complete that, up until four years ago I refused to eat beef.

My recent trip to Oregon re-ignited this strange love of cows.

Here are some cows I took a picture of today while I went about my daily travels.
