On Saturday (the last day of the in-laws visit) we started out going back to D.C. to explore some more, but it was too crowed. Then we drove to Arlington, VA to see the cemetery, but the GPS lead us to a military base. So, we drove to Mount Vernon.
It was a beautiful day. Not hot and humid. Not cold. It was a bit breezy. This was a place I thought would be great to bring children. Unlike, Gettysburg which I thought was not a good place to bring children.
