I've been doing lots of cooking of late. Though I have yet to have a apron to keep my cloths clean while I ply my art. So yesterday I thought why not just make one. I purchased a pattern, that was on sale, some fabric, ribbon, and bias tape.
Then it was time to cut out the pieces.
Four simple pieces. Since I chose a fabric pattern that the bias did not matter. Made cutting things out much easier.
The next step is to finish the upper edge of the pocket.
Put the bias tape on the pocket.
Pin the pockets to the apron
Stitch together the tie.
Pin tie onto apron.
Stick together the straps.
Pin onto apron
Stitch bias tape all around apron.
Stitch on ribbon.
